ABSTRACT: This book offers practical guidelines for dealing with issues that arise when working

sponsored by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). This book addresses and synthesizes the

methodological techniques to conduct culturally competent program evaluations. This book consists of

examined the cultural competency of its management and staff. This assessment evaluated the department's

public policy in the areas of prevention, treatment and care and supportive services, and
biomedical and behavioral research.
